Domaine Ramonet is one of Burgundy’s legendary producers, famous for crafting benchmark white wines from Chassagne-Montrachet and Puligny-Montrachet grands and premiers crus. Les Chaumées is a high, stony premier cru at the northern end of Chassagne, bordering Saint-Aubin. Its limestone-rich soils yield wines of tension, minerality, and finesse. The 2020 vintage was warm but balanced, producing concentrated, structured whites with excellent freshness and aging potential. Lemon zest, green apple, and white peach with floral lift, hazelnut, and crushed stone minerality. Focused and taut, with vibrant acidity and a long, saline finish.
